I’m so happy you stumbled upon this space. I wanted to create a cozy, personal hideaway to document my life, share my favorite things, and just be myself (also to connect with sweet souls like you, ofc!!!).
A little bit about me
To be completely honest with you from the start, I've always sucked at little introductions, so I guess I'll just tell you a couple random facts about me.
I'm Adii Bluu, but you, my lovies, can call me however you want. I'm Uruguayan (writing this on Independence Day!), I'm 21 years old and a Pisces (it's also my moon sign, you'll notice pretty soon); my favorite number is 314, and my favorite activity might be walking outside and taking in the scenery, or sitting somewhere to watch cars drive past and people walk by.
I'd describe myself as slow, foggy mornings in Manhattan, the moment you stop and realize something that hits deeply in the midst of a hectic day, like when you're speed-walking and find yourself forced to stop at a street light, and out of nowhere you just come to yourself with deep emotion-fluttering thoughts. You'd see me sitting right behind a flowery window, or the steps of a brownstone with a book in hand, maybe just sitting somewhere in a bench (because being completely honest, im not a fan of sitting on the grass or next to a tree), but the point i want to make here is that, you'll find me in slow, little, heartwarming moments of life, or doing soft, slow-paced things that make me feel.
I think that's the best way I could find to describe myself with words on a screen while I sit on my bed typing and eating nuggets at 3AM.
What you’ll find here (probably missing a lot)
This blog is going to be a mix of all the little things in life that bring me joy:
- bookish rambles: TBR lists, Kindle updates, recommendations I've found on TikTok and Pinterest (because your girl here doesn't have a lot of bookish friends, or friends in general) and honest thoughts on what I’m currently reading.
- life recaps & diary entries: casual life updates, current obsessions (expect a lot of those), lists of anything (I'm the list-making girl!), and cozy moments.
- blog design & creative writing: behind-the-scenes updates as I customize this space with fun gadgets and layout tweaks! As well as things I write (as a former Wattpad and AO3 girly, I've got you), I'd love to say life advice too, but I don't think I'm the right person for that.
